Giornata mondiale dell'ambiente

World Environment Day was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972 and it is celebrated every year on June 5th. It is known in English as World Environment Day or with the acronym WED.

The event focuses on the need to live sustainably, in harmony with nature. Planet Earth is in fact the only "home" for its inhabitants, and its resources must be protected.

Giornata mondiale degli oceani

World Oceans Day was established in Rio de Janeiro on June 13th, 1992 by the United Nations, UNESCO and the International Oceanographic Commission.

The event represents a declaration of intent aimed at achieving the sustainable development goal “Preserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources” by 2030.

CEG celebrates World Environment Day and World Oceans Day every year to raise awareness of the need to live sustainably, in harmony with nature to protect the global ecosystem.

Thanks to small daily actions, each of us can help improve the ecosystem. CEG has always been sensitive to social and environmental issues, undertaking a path towards environmental, economic and social sustainability, consequently it adheres to and supports this initiative by raising awareness among its collaborators in putting into practice those daily actions aimed at the protection and improvement of the environment to live in a sustainable way, in harmony with the territory that surrounds us.
